To accompany her white corseted Schiaparelli couture gown, black satin opera gloves and a layering of silver chains, Swift opted for two bohemian braids – one thin, one arching over the ear. One blended blended into – and helped shape – her rumpled blonde tresses, which fell artfully over one shoulder. A side-swept bang and polish at the crown ensured that the style skewed more glamorous than bohemian, especially when paired with a sharp black cat eye and that trademark red lip.
Between the natural texture, the black-and-white look, and the quietly gothic accessories, Swift’s red carpet look practically screamed Reputation (Taylor’s Version), which is thought to be the next album on her re-release menu.
